Joel took me on a weekend getaway for my birthday and for our friends wedding. The wedding was in Bloomington on Saturday so Joel decided that we would go Friday night with some friends of ours Joel and Lauren Mingus, they were going to the wedding anyway.
It was a great time. We saw Live Free or Die Hard (Great movie, but I'm a Bruce and Die Hard fan). I got a pair of wind pants for $2.50 at Dick's sporting goods. I was so excited!
The wedding was very special. A good friend, (mostly of Joel's) Kevin, got married. It was a beautiful wedding. There were so many special things, I got teary eyed even before her dad gave her away!!! You had to be there. It was great to be reminded of what God intended for a man and a woman and what He created marriage to be.

Mom didn't get it her way. I didn't want to come until November 25, 2007 at 7:36 am. I was 6 lbs. and 9 oz and 20.5". I tried to be nice to mom and not keep her in labor for more than 18 hours. I am not too fussy only when I am hungry, wet and dirty, being changed (clothes or diaper). I sleep good, a little too good sometimes I would rather sleep than eat, but I am still meeting my dirty diaper quota so Mom and Dad shouldn't worry!
We decided to cave into the peer pressure and start a blog! No, really we just wanted to have a place where people who love us and are curious about what is going on in our lives a place to find all that 411 out.

Hey Becca, we need an update here, you are so slacking!!! I really hope you had a nice baby shower, i am really disappointed i wasn't able to attend, however, i had my cousin's wedding shower today. I would have much rather of been with you celebrating this wondrous event. me, viv, and kayla all want to get together with you soon and have our own little baby shower with you, i'll call sometime this week and we'll set it up. I do hope all is going well with you and i miss you! love Laura
