Hello family and friends! Life has been good. I am enjoying being a housewife and mother more and more each day. Mason is growing and getting bigger, but he is always such a cutie! He and Joel got head colds and congestion last week and they are both still battling them.
Mason, Jan(MIL), and I went to Tennessee to visit Joel's little brother Daniel and his wife Cari. Mason did very well on the 9 hour car drive. The weather on the drive down was ridiculous. We went through rain, snow, sleet, hail, and fog all before we finally arrived. We were hoping for really nice warm weather maybe in the 60s...No winter follows me wherever I go. The first day was in the 30s, but it did finally warm up. We went to a museum and outlet malls. We had a wonderful time.
I am very thankful that I have such a wonderful family. I didn't take any pictures.

Trip to Minnesota
This weekend to went to Josh and Debbie's in Minnesota. Our brother and sister. They have our oldest nephew Brennen and the youngest Greer Caleb. He was just born January 13 2008! We had a great time visiting with them despite the fact that it was the coldest weekend of the year! The boys built a computer for Debbie, worked on the breezeway, and played broomball! Debbie and I took care of the kids and managed to go out for a soy, decafe, carmel frappe! It was great to be with family!
God is Great
Hello everyone! Joel and I had some big financial responsibilities and obligations to pay and make decisions on. I was stressing out about how we would pay for the repairs on both of our vehicles on top of all the money issues. So Joel and I decided to write everything on little pieces of paper, lay them in the middle of the floor and pray over them. The very next day we received 2 checks in the mail one for each car repair...paid in full!!!

Mason 10 Weeks
Well at his 2 month visit he was 10 lbs. and 6 oz and 22.5"! So yes everyone he is getting bigger. We discovered that his fussiness, spit up, and lack of napping has been due to acid reflux. He has been on his medicine for almost a week and he is a totally different baby! He naps so much better during the day and at night has increased to 6/7 hours (knock on wood). He also has a tongue tie and we will be getting that fixed on Wednesday Feb. 6th.
We are so thankful and so blessed to have Mason in our lives. He brings so much joy when he babbles and smiles. He's even cute when he's crying and pouting!
I am really loving being at home with him. Sometimes I get bored, but I am getting better and giving myself things to do and visiting with other at-home-moms and friends. Joel is really good at giving me breaks on Saturdays and some evenings. I have worked a few hours at the spa each month.
Well that is all for now!
